SteelFiber Wins Garden City Charity Classic

SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, the No. 1 graphite iron shafts in golf, chalked up a win at the Garden City Charity Classic on the Symetra Tour.

Playing SteelFiber i80 graphite shafts in her irons, the Michigan State University alumna from Edgerton, Wis., finished strong with a bogey-free final round, winning the Garden City Charity Classic by two strokes. The victory was her first career win. SteelFiber shafts were also played by a 2017 LPGA rookie who scored a T2 finish.

“We congratulate the champion on her first career win,” said Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. ”SteelFiber’s innovative design combines the power of graphite with the stability of steel and delivers unique performance benefits which have previously been unheard of in golf. SteelFiber shafts reduce the risk of injury, lessen aggravation of existing injuries and decrease player fatigue, all while simultaneously delivering greater distance and accuracy.”

SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through innovative composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface. The shaft’s graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.
